Peggy has a private psychotherapy practice in Sherman Oaks, California. She gained her clinical experience by counseling at a non-profit agency and facilitating in-classroom social skills classes at the elementary school level. Peggy is a trained public speaker who guest lectures at the high school and university level in the field of human sexuality, and presents workshops at nationally recognized conferences in the field of Transgender Wellness. Peggy is the author of the award winning book, “Straight Expectations: The Story of a Family in Transition.” She is a recipient of the first-ever 50 Distinguished Sexual and Gender Health Revolutionaries award. Peggy has also made several national television appearances. 

Peggy has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Master's Degree from Phillips Graduate Institute. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), The Lesbian and Gay Psychotherapy Association, World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), and Toastmasters for Mental Health Professionals.
